West Deptford, N.J. - On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service responded to a 160 acre wildfire near Red Bank Ave. in West Deptford, NJ.
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service deployed a plane capable of dropping 600 gallons of water, as well as engines and ground crews to contain the wildfire, which was originally reported around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

During the blaze, 100 structures were threatened and voluntary evacuations were in place. There were zero reported injuries or residential damage.
According to authorities, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
