Egg Harbor Township, N.J. - The identity of the nurse who was fatally shot at ExcelCare Rehabilitation Facility in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, has been revealed.


According to officials, 38-year-old Victoria Alexander, of Minotola, was fatally shot by 35-year-old Brandon Alexander, also of Minotola, who is believed to be her estranged husband.

According to an investigation, Brandon Alexander waited for Victoria Alexander to arrive at ExcelCare, where she was employed as a nurse. When she arrived, Brandon Alexander allegedly blocked her in, entered her vehicle, and placed two suicide notes on her dashboard.


According to reports, a delivery driver asked Brandon Alexander to move his vehicle, and that is when Victoria Alexander ran into the building. Brandon followed her into the building and then shot her several times, eventually shooting himself.


Victoria Alexander was pronounced dead on the scene, while Brandon Alexander was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries on Tuesday.
