New Jersey has launched its controversial ICE Reporting Portal, a statewide reporting tool that enables residents to upload photos and videos of ICE operations. Officials say the system will strengthen public oversight and improve safety by giving the public a direct way to flag potential misconduct.

Governor Mikie Sherrill announced the portal’s activation, emphasizing that the platform is designed to assist law enforcement and government officials in identifying and reviewing questionable ICE activity. The portal is accessible through the New Jersey Attorney General’s website, where users can submit multimedia evidence and detailed reports.

Sherrill also called on residents to begin submitting reports through the new launched ICE portal, stating that the tool will be used to document and review what she described as unlawful actions. She said the reporting system is intended to ensure accountability and provide greater oversight of ICE operations.
