Gloucester Township, N.J. - A driver was flown to a regional trauma center after a two-vehicle crash near Sicklerville and Garwood roads Tuesday evening, according to Gloucester Township police.
Officers responded at about 6:32 p.m. Oct. 20. Investigators believe a classic Ford Roadster crossed into opposing traffic and struck a Honda Passport, police said in an Oct. 21 release. The circumstances remain under investigation.
The Ford driver received treatment at the scene before being transported by helicopter. Police did not specify the driver's condition. The Honda driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with what police described as minor injuries.
Police withheld both drivers' identities. Sicklerville Road was temporarily closed while the department's Serious Crash Investigation Team worked at the scene.
Witnesses or anyone with information can call police at 856-228-4500. Anonymous information can be submitted through the department's tip portal.
