Northfield, N.J. - The Northfield Police Department responded to 1675 Burton Avenue (Birch Grove Park) just after 1:00 p.m., on Saturday following a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a child.
According to the Northfield Police Department, the accident occurred while a vehicle was making a delivery at the baseball/softball snack bar at the fields. The child sustained a leg injury and was treated on scene by EMS, paramedics, and the Northfield Fire Department before being airlifted to CHOP.

The injuries sustained are not believed to be life-threatening.
