Margate, N.J. - The Margate Police Department responded to the area of Jerome Avenue Park in Margate, NJ, just after 6:00 p.m., on Thursday following a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a juvenile.
According to the Margate Police Department, the accident occurred when a juvenile riding an “electric-powered vehicle” was involved in an accident with a motor vehicle. After being evaluated at the scene, the juvenile was airlifted via State Police helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Thankfully, in a morning news release, The Margate City Fire Department confirmed the juvenile was discharged from the hospital overnight and returned home recovering with his family.
