Atlantic City, N.J. - Atlantic City High School senior Aryiane Hill has been named the 2026 New Jersey State Youth of the Year by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, earning the organization’s highest state-level honor.


The Youth of the Year program celebrates teens who exemplify the values of leadership, character, service, and healthy lifestyles while demonstrating a dedication to academic success and community involvement.

Aryiane Hill has been a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City since kindergarten and credit the organization with helping shape her confidence, leadership skills, and sense of purpose. In a statement, Hill said “The Boys & Girls Club opened doors for me and showed me hat no dream is too big”


As New Jersey State Youth of the Year, Hill received a $12,500 scholarship and will advance to the Northeast Youth of the Year competition on June 9, where she will compete against students from neighboring states for a $20,000 renewable scholarship and a spot in the national competition.


Hill plans to attend Stockton University and pursue a career in law. She hopes to one day serve as a criminal defense attorney, Supreme Court Justice, or educator dedicated to helping young people realize their potential.
